problem
Films, series, anime, manga and games are usually tracked in separate apps, so a reader's progress, ratings and upcoming releases end up split across several services.
approach
One NestJS API pulls TMDB, MangaDex and IGDB or RAWG data into a shared catalogue and a library with per-category progress. Readers import Mihon and AniYomi backups, rate and review finished titles, and get in-app and email alerts for new episodes, chapters and releases. Adult content stays filtered unless a reader opts in.
outcome
A live, phone-ready tracker where one account holds every category's library, progress, reviews and release alerts, behind a public or private profile and administrator moderation.
